I am pleased to announce that Capizzo has purchased Framing for Friends in Douglas. We are honored and grateful to carry on what Marie Muha poured her heart into for over 30 years. Many thanks to all the folks who have reached out to offer encouragement and support. We're working rapidly to reopen with full services, the transition is well underway.
We can complete your custom framing order if you pick the frame, mat and design. And we're happy to provide design input and assistance but it is not our "specialty" at this time.
We frame most every sort of art, including photos, and you'll find us friendly and eager to work with you.
Are you the framing design assistant we're looking for? You have a great eye for color and a passion for art and design. You’re a quick study and work well independently? Are you that person or do you know someone? We want to speak to you!

Although the gallery is closed for the Winter, Capizzo Studio is still available to rent for special events.
A multi-use indoor/oudoor space capable of serving your needs for events up to 75 guests.

Rental rates
Capizzo has a selection of caterers of choice – this list will be provided to you. Full bar services available through Capizzo.
Rates are determined by use, number of guests, time of year, and number of hours.
Here are sample packages for events not requiring any special needs such as art removal or relocation and such.
2 hour rental packages include: up to 2 hour block of time (including set up & tear down) Under 1-20 guests: $500; 20+ guests: $1000
4 hour rental packages include: up to 4 hour block of time (including set-up & clean-up): $1500
6 hour rental packages include: up to 6 hour block of time (including set-up & clean-up): $2500
All packages include: the use of Capizzo tables: (1) 8’ banquet tables, (4) 6’ banquet tables, (4) 36” round high-tops, multiple lawn and garden tables and end tables, with 12 dining chairs and multiple lounge chairs; restroom; bridal room; bistro lights; and parking. Firepit, Weber grill, yard games, tree swings and more.
