Dona is a self-taught mixed media artist. Some of her mediums include textile, beads, thread, and paint. Among her work, she is well known for her accessory and jewelry pieces that include intricate beading and detailed designs.

When she isn't making art, her time is divided between Saugatuck and Santa Fe. She finds that the beauty of both places is a constant source of inspiration for her work.
